‘Seven Days in Utopia’ Chattanooga premiere
An extremely exciting and impactful event will be happening in Murfreesboro and throughout several areas of the Mid-Tennessee area when the new movie, “Seven Days in Utopia” is shown for the first time, September 2 – 8, 2011. The G – Rated Film will be shown in Cleveland, TN, at the Premiere Theatre 12 Cleveland: 137 Pleasant Grove Rd., McDonald, TN 37353, (423) 473-0041; and in Chattanooga, TN, at the Rave Motion Pictures East Ridge: 5080 South Terrace Chattanooga, TN 37412, (423) 855-9652.
This film is an incredible story of a professional golfer (played by Lucas Black) who loses his ‘game’ and falls into an actual Texas location called Utopia. He meets up with an old professional golfer and teacher (played by Robert Duvall) and over “Seven Days..” receives valuable lessons in life and is able to resurrect his golf game in the process; thus having the opportunity to prove his ability in the next PGA event.
This film is one of the ‘better’-done golf movies, with a great golf swing exhibited by Lucas Black and, even, Duvall at one point. We’re also given glimpses of popular PGA Tour Players, Stuart Cink, Rickie Fowler and several others, but the main, ‘villain’ is played by famous Korean PGA Tour Player, K.J. Choi.
The movie is not just a golf movie, but a movie about the realities of life, faith, family, love and redemption. The interesting aspect of the movie is highlighted in the end when the viewer is left hanging as to whether Lucas makes the final putt to win the tournament and the audience held in suspense until the message; “visit www.didhemaketheputt.com” fills the screen, calling all to continue our journey and receive the most important message from the film. Make sure you visit that link!!
Kingdom Corporate Golf is helping promote the film in tandem with the local www.BreakawayOutreach.com Champions Fore Kids golf event, which will be hosted on October 22 at Montlake Golf Course, www.montlakegolf.com, in Soddy Daisy.
