Restoring hope, building faith, and shaping resilience in kids facing hardship
We meet kids in tough places—the disenfranchised, the hurting, and those who feel lost. We believe that the Gospel satisfies all aspects of justice and that’s why for over 30 years Breakaway Outreach has been serving at-risk youth, justice-impacted children, and marginalized communities through gospel-centered ministries that forge resilience, build character, and shape better futures.
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
—Psalm 82:3–4
From the margins of Chattanooga to the ends of the earth, we are intentional about developing partnerships, mobilizing communities, and multiplying missional movements that give kids facing adverse childhood experiences the opportunity to “breakaway” and step into more hope-filled futures. Through a myriad of local, regional, and global initiatives, we collaborate with churches, schools, agencies, nonprofits, and other community liaisons to employ trauma-informed approaches and care ministries that help vulnerable children rise above their risk factors and rise to their God-given potential.
Young people are NOT merely projects, but TREASURED vessels to be shaped into next generation leaders, restorers of justice, bridge builders of peace, ambassadors of reconciliation, and unashamed followers of Jesus Christ.
