Through our justice and compassion ministries network, communities are mobilized to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the margins of society; caring for the vulnerable, the poor, the distressed, and the underserved.
We believe that Christ followers should be active agents of change in society by caring for those in need. When Jesus came to usher in the kingdom of God on earth, He turned the world’s value system upside down. To a culture obsessed with position and power He modeled servant-hood and love, lifting up the lowly and embracing those who were marginalized. In His very first public sermon, Jesus announced that He had come “to proclaim good news to the poor … to set the oppressed free” (Luke 4:18). Compassion for the under-served and justice for the poor was at the forefront of Jesus’ public ministry inauguration.
Through strategic partnerships with churches, community agencies, and individual volunteers, our compassion ministries network offers resources and opportunities for those in need. Most importantly, the network brings life-giving community so that others don’t have to face hardship alone.
