Donate Dresses for Underserved Girls

Girls’ DRESSES needed…

We run a summer camp program that serves at-risk and underserved children. As part of the camp, we have a special formal dinner in which the girls get to dress up for a fancy evening (we call it “Esther’s Banquet”). Because most of the girls coming to our camp are from low-income homes, we could use in-kind donations of girls’ dresses that the girls can wear to the camp dinner, but also take home afterwards. Sizes needed are “Girls 10” through “Juniors All Sizes.” So if you have any dresses in the closet that have been outgrown and you would like to donate them to a great cause, you will have a part in restoring dignity in young girls in our community! I was being bullied at school and was planning to commit suicide when I received an invitation with a scholarship to attend Breakaway camp. I decided to put off the suicide plan and attend camp. It was the best decision I ever made. I gave my life to Jesus at camp and then Breakaway helped me get involved with a local church. My life still has ups and downs but I know now that God has me no matter what.”
