    Where Will You Make a Difference in 2020?

    Where will you make a difference in 2020? Your impact can be life changing for this generation—and the next—by serving at a Breakaway youth camp this spring/summer. We have missions opportunities for individuals and teams to serve at our day camps in the Chattanooga area, our regional summer camp for at-risk kids near Greenville (Tennessee), and multiple overseas sports camps (Italy, Germany, Northern Ireland, Dominican Republic). Join us in empowering kids through communities of faith, hope, and love. Serve opportunities include being a camp counselor, leading small group Bible discussions, coaching sports, facilitating recreational activities, helping kids with crafts (VBS lessons), leading worship, preparing and serving meals, and much more.     For over a decade Breakaway Outreach has been mobilizing mission teams to facilitate baseball camps in Europe. Why do we do this? This video answers that question. Listen to some of our camp leaders in Italy, Ireland, and Germany, share how this ministry is reaching people far from God and transforming lives.

    Europe a Forgotten Mission Field

    Europe has been described as one of the most forgotten mission fields of our day. Once at the epicenter of the sending church, today it is a region where the church has faced attrition. The church in Europe has the lowest growth rate at 1.1% annually. Europe’s cities, through their diverse populations and activities, produce connections with individuals and cultures from around the world. Imagine what would happen if that influence could be harnessed to extend God’s Kingdom.

    Why Baseball?

    Baseball is a relatively unknown sport in Germany. Having Americans instruct baseball is not only engaging for German youth, it impacts entire families and communities. Utilizing baseball camps for 8-18 year old young people has proven to be groundbreaking in its effectiveness to share the gospel.

    Short Term Mission Trips

    We provide short term mission trips for Americans to serve in Germany. Although you don’t have to be a baseball player to go, a general knowledge of the game is important.     ATV Racing Outreach

    In this ATV racing outreach video, Quinn Michael shares about his life-changing experience while incarcerated over fifteen years ago. After giving his life to Christ in a jail cell, Quinn went on to become a two-time ATV racing champion in the Extreme Dirt Track Nationals.

    In 2001, he began creating his artistic, extreme ATV customs. Today, he has earned the respect as a top designer and builder in the ATV industry having his custom quads showcased in magazines, events, and television shows all over the globe.

    Perhaps his finest work was the Indianapolis Colts Suzuki LT-R450 that he built to commemorate the Colts’ Super Bowl win in 2006. That quad was unveiled at the Indy Dealer Expo in 2007 and later purchased by Lucas Oil and is a permanent fixture at Lucas Oil Stadium for every Colts home game.

    But Quinn’s passion runs deeper than merely building and racing quads. His real passion is all about reaching people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Quinn is a part of the Breakaway Outreach ministry reaching troubled teens in juvenile detention centers through high-energy ATV stunt shows. He also ministers at Nascar events and other outreach venues all over the country.

    The Outta Control DVD features Quinn’s personal faith-journey mixed with thrilling race footage, mind-blowing ATV stunts, and a riveting message of the hope that God offers every person through the redemption of Jesus Christ.

    Former NFL coach Tony Dungy also makes a cameo on the DVD.
