In 2017, the Breakaway community rallied together to get a new basketball court paved for the Barahona orphanage, which serves as the epicenter of daily recreation for the children. During English camp this summer, our team made good use of the court with sessions for basketball, Baseball5™, and other games. Our partnership with the orphanage + mission center gives the children opportunities to develop valuable life skills such as language learning while contributing to their spiritual formation in the Gospel.

In the UK, Breakaway partnerships are reaching youth for Christ, multiplying Gospel movements, and serving church planting initiatives. We have sports mission trips available for American coaches and church mission teams to serve in London, Belfast, and Glasgow in 2025.

Our NASCAR KidVenturez weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway has been a 14-year tradition. This action packed weekend for Breakaway kids offers enrichment around the thrill of motorsports and outdoor adventure. Our group participates in many speedway festivities before attending the night race followed by a Sunday morning chapel time.
